Steve Shanley Named as 4th Conductor of the CRMB

On Sunday, September 26, 2010, the Cedar Rapids Band Commission named Steve Shanley (bio) as the fourth permanent conductor of the Cedar Rapids Municipal Band (CRMB conductor history). Shanley is a native Cedar Rapidian. He's an accomplished musician, conductor and composer and is currently an assistant professor of music at Coe College. Shanley is also a long-time member of the Cedar Rapids Municipal Band and has performed with the Waterloo and Cedar Falls Municipal Bands. Welcome aboard Steve! |
